Another Florida Boy Saying Hello

This is a great site. I've been lurking for 6 months to a year just reading up. Since I'm on the verge of buying a Vulcan I figured I'd finally signup. Thanks for having me.

Welcome aboard. What kind of Vulcan are you eyeballing?

1985 Honda Nighthawk 650 (First Bike)
2004 Vulcan 1500 Classic (First Big Bike)
2007 Vulcan 1600 Meanstreak (Love Affair)
1999 Yamaha 1100 V-Star Custom (Right Price at the Time)
2008 V2K Classic (Favorite Vulcan)
2014 HD Ultra Limited (Bells and Whistles)
Who would have thought I would grow up to become "Spatially Educated" and play Connect-the-Dots for a living.

2012 Left over Vaquero in blue. Looks like the 13's are just starting to hit the ground and they are making some pretty good deals on the 12's right now.

Awesome. That is a bike I would not mind adding. But I will stick with the V2K for now. Since you have been lurking I guess you have read up on the different recalls and changes that has went on with the 1700. I do not know a lot about it, just have seen a lot of talk on here about it.

Oh ya been lurking on here doing research on the Vaquero to see what every one thinks about them. You always have to do your homework.

I like to try and stay on top of my game with bike knowledge. Never know when it might come in handy.

Howdy from Tennessee! Why is it there is this big surge from FL signing on, just when the cold air is reaching down south and snuffing out the daily rides? I'm guessing they just want to rub our cold noses in it!
Riding a 2011 Vaquero myself. I would suggest wrapping those exhaust pipes soonest, cheap and a great improvement!

Bear, why would I want to discuss the weather when its 76 degrees here today wihout a cloud to be seen. Too much riding to do precludes me from having a weather chat. Gotta go, bike is now warmed up for the afternoon ride!

Oh, that is just so wrong!
You just wait, we're gonna just pass one of these cold fronts on down to you! I figure somewhere around the low 60s and you guys crawl under the covers!

We have the weather but you have those beautiful hills to ride into. I get a thrill here in flat Florida when I hit a speed bump.

I ride in 60 degrees all the time. Oh wait. You mean Celsius or Fahrenheit?
