New vn2000 owner from uk

Hi, I'm new to cruiser bikes. Never even ridden a cruiser until yesterday when I purchased my good friends 2009 vn2000.

I must say, I haven't been far on it yet but love the relaxed ride. I currently own a 2014 1700 Vmax with lots of mods and a 2015my/2016 ninja h2 with enough mods to see just over 280whp.

You can probably tell I'm a bit of a speed junkie.

Anyway, hope to learn a lot hear, the only thing I can fault this bike on is the noise, or lack of

Welcome, New_cruiser! From one 2K rider to another, you're gonna love that bike like crazy (crazier?) once you settle in and "become one" with her. You'll see a post here shortly from our Beacon of Hope, MN-Rider, asking you to fill out your profile. Just follow the link in RED in the post and you'll be on your way. I'll tell you now we'll ALL wanna see pix not just of your latest acquisition, but of all your two-wheeled conveyances! I'd be remiss if I didn't toss you a spare set of keys to the 2000 Garage...hang on, lemme see if they slipped down between the sofa cushions...nah, nothing here but a handful of broken crisps! Oh, wait, here they are...

Wow, in the uk it's almost impossible to get an exhaust for a v2k. It's like the bike is obsolete) I didn't really want to go down the route of importing from USA again as I have done with other bikes/cars. Get hit with import duty and end up waiting forever, then, if something isn't right? Hmmm, what to do
