After many long years away from riding I recently bought my sons bike when he moved up to a bigger bike, a 2009 Ninja 250r, to get back on two wheels again and see how it felt out there with today's heavier traffic and more out of touch drivers. I am happy to be ready to move up to a more suitable bike for me and I am ready to purchase a 2007 900 Classic from a local dealer. I have used this forum to do pretty extensive research about these bikes and I want to thank all of you who contribute. I'm looking forward to many happy miles and years on my Vulcan.
Consider taking a MSF refresher course since it's been a while being on two wheels :good:
I'm not really qualified to speak on behalf of all the great folks here in the forums due to me being a recent member myself...but...thank you for heeding the wisdom of the folks who ride these bikes and making that a part of your decision making process. I myself, am honored by that, sir.
+1 with Shiloh101, there, 1summerguy -- it's still crazy out there! Welcome to the group and don't let Buskman fool you...he's plenty qualified to offer opinions/assistance/etc. Just have yer box o' salt handy when reading his responses! :devil2:
