Recently bought a 2004 Vulcan V2K. Looking for ideas to make the ride more comfortable. I have heard the stories about the Vulcan seat sucking and after 12 hours on the bike it's no lie. In my opinion the handlebars are just as bad. So it's time to make it my own.
Welcome to the group! Some fine folks and some fine minds here. I can't speak to the original equipment seat; the '05 V2K I lucked upon had a Mustang seat already in place, and it is terrific. As for the bars, so far I'm pretty happy with 'em...but let's tackle this question again once I have a few more miles on her!
