I'm new to the forum, but been over on Volusiariders.com for 4 years. The 03 Suzuki Volusia was my 1st bike at the tender age of 43. I've been riding for 4 years.
My wife enjoys riding with me, but was so uncomfortable on the Vol after an hour or 2. So I did what many Volusia/C50 Boulevard riders have done, I bought a Nomad :grin2:
My 1st question:
What is the prefered light bar for the VN1700N ? I see some of the aftermaket models are not universal between 1700 models.
Welcome to the forum from Alabama! Personally I went with the OEM light bar. It was harder to get out of the packing than it was to install and easy to rig for running high and low beam.
Yeah, the Nomad is definitely not a corner carver, but it sure does long stretches of interstate with superb comfort and weather protection. That's why I want one, anyway. I'll hopefully be picking one up soon here as well.
I'll sell you mine. It's going back on the market when I get my title back.
2011 one owner before me and I've had it less than a week. 7500 miles. Stock except for the Cobra sissy bar and luggage rack and a front fender chrome trim.
Glad you're enjoying it. If you know of anyone looking for one, send them my way.
