What is the difference between K46000-425 and K46000-427 Passenger Floor Board Kits. The 427 number supersedes the 425 number. In the end looking to purchase a set at a reasonable price new or used for VN2000E6F - 2006 Vulcan 2000 Classic
Search the V2K forum. I posted the floorboards I used on mine a couple years ago, I went aftermarkert with Kuryakian.... how ever you spell it. Also, make sure you got all the right parts and spacers. Only the LT came with passenger floor boards. i THINK you can mount them directly to the frame but they will be CLOSE and probably uncomfortable. They are made to mount to the factory saddle bag supports and set out off the frame a little bit.
Thank you for that information.
I just assumed that they mounted frame direct.
Subtle pieces of information make these types of projects a success the first time.
At this time I do not have bags.
I will search for pictures to try to understand the mounting better.
There are very few pictures of this specific area.
Who take a picture of how a passenger floorboard is mounted - LOL
