Tank Bib now available for the Vaquero and Voyager

Here are some pictures of the new Tank Bib for the Vaquero. it fits under the plastic factory bib. It has a pocket and the pocket is removable and is held on by Velcro and two large (1/2" diameter) metal snaps and is very, very easy to take off and put right back on. The pocket is approximately 7 1/2" wide at the top, 6" wide at the bottom, 5" tall and opens to 2 1/2" deep - it has a lot of room but doesn't look like it when it is folded down.

Available with concho and studs as well. Sage Brush Designs took the time and effort to design these at my request, they are a top quality firm and I am sure that I am gonna like mine and if you order from them, am sure you will too.

Order them from: www.sagebrushdesigns.com

Just click on the "thumnail" pix and they will open up larger.

That does look good. Does it raise up the factory trim piece and if so do you notice any binding at the key?

So, how does it look against the black bike?

They now do have the pictures loaded up, you got to call them and then they build one for you, a total of about 10 days to get one. Mine is on it's way, the pictures you see are from the manufacturer who used a new Vaquero at his local dealership as a "test" bike.

See them online here about half way down the page; http://www.sagebrushdesigns.com/tank_bib.html

Here is a blow up of one of the pix from their site:

Well they say they are made from 10-ounce Premium Latigo leather and treated with a high quality leather conditioner, then given a water-resistant leather treatment and finally treated with 303 Aerospace Protectant, the most technologically advanced Ultra-Violet Sun Protectant in the World.

Well for this quality and from what others have posted elsewhere online about their product, the total of $155 including shipping is not bad if it holds up for years to come.

I ordered mine today. I emailed Sagebrush Designs direct and have been dealing with "Chris McVean" sage@sagebrushdesigns.com who organized the order in real time (my morning his evening due to time difference). A couple of emails and the deal was done.

Excellent to deal with I expect them out here in Australia in about 3 -4 weeks, looking forward to it as the photos show high quality workmanship.

I think they are real nice, hand made and high quality are the key words on these to me. They have been making them for HDs and Metrics for some years and are considered out there in the Biker worl to be one of the higher quality Bibs on the market.

I am glad they took the time to go out to their local Kawa Dealer and that the Dealer let them customize one to fit the Vaquero and the Voyager. They told me that they were allowed to use a new 2011 Red Vaquero that you see on their web pages.

Enjoy your new Tank Bib there "down-under"

How big are the pockets ? Can I fit a camera in there ?

2010 Voyager 1700 ABS with heated seats, Grasshopper backrest, Kuryakyn highway pegs and an Ipod because the radio reception fades in and out. Also has a gear whine, fuel gauge that fluctuates too much and a pathetic cooling system.
