[QUOTE=dthomso1;266395]I wondered if anyone has any experience, good or bad, with this AGM battery. It is one of the very few agm types I can find in the A2 size.
I have one in my 454.Great battery.Much better than the old style. No water level to check,no spilled acid to worry about,& no vent tube.
If at first you do succeed, try not to look surprised.

I've encounter this problem yesterday aout in nowhere was able to fix it and return home safely, Cehck those battery connection and it appears to be working fine, just to add something I added a little pice of rubber to the end of the battery connection to avoid damaging the terminal and screw it with no problems .
thx for this post !!
Thanks for saying thanks. Yes the battery terminals are a two layered affair and too many folks don't check out both layers and think they have solved the problem. I put a bit of Loctite on my terminal connector bolts. Tom

Is the horizontal/vertical post screw thing only an issue with the stock battery? Before I bought this bike the previous owner installed an AGM battery. Before I go pull off the seat, should I expect this may still be an issue?
