advice on wiring in my Mutazu trunk

Looking for some advice on wiring in my new Mutazu DB trunk. Have a 09 vulcan 900 LTD. Already mounted the trunk-cables included are just a bit too short to reach any existing wiring. Bought a flat 4 prong trailer wiring connect kit/ (includes 6 wire splices) along with a 12v 'hot' wire tester at walmart. have looked/googled and cant find anything truly useful on the trunk but plenty of info on their hard bags.....(which I may get later)
Mutuzu gve NO wiring advice-just a slip of paper with wire colors/functions
listed below:
Green-neg
Red-Left Signal
Blue-right signal
Bron-spoiler solid light
Grren/yellow-spoiler flashing light

Am also installing a kushin SM-3 (with a '74 led' replacment for turn signal indicator)
along with red lens all round for OEM turn signals to also be running lights.

Would like to set the trunk turn signals to also be running lights, and the spoiler as brake/flashing.

Where is the best place to tap into existing wiring-along with route back into the trunk-and any/all tips/ways to keep the wiring secure and not looking hillbilly.
Thinking of getting LED light replacement kit from radiant....
am really/truly an complete electrical nub. So any and all advice appreciated.
sincerely. LTC Bill Campbell

the best place to splice it in would be under the seat up close to the battery at the front end of the wiring harness. or i think so anyway. that way you can keep in cleaner looking by running the trunk wires under the seat up to there.

One suggestion if not already mentioned, by some sort of a 'plug' for your connection. I used trailer connectors (easy enough right?) That way, if the trunk ever has to come off, you can just unplug it.

for bass--its my bad, its the kisan sm-3 module (vs kushin-i am hopeless on keyboard sometimes)-lets u run digital lights, self cancel turn signals, and keeps your brake signal lit at a stop sign
