Certainly not an expert, but found this video that explains how the powerpro works without an O2 sensor. Its in the second part after the fi2000 explaination. In short, it uses the engines crank shaft as a continuous dino making adjustments based on the engines feedback. The speaker does a better job explaining the tuners process.

I asked and you gave. I thank you for that. This does sound interesting, it's the first I've heard of it. I haven't had time to investigate this yet, but just listening to them I can see how it could auto adjust on acceleration and load scenarios. For idle and cruise it would still not be able to autotune with this technology.
I'm gonna see if I can find some folks that have run these awhile, with various setups. I know some human Dyno tuners have trouble with certain pipes (like Rineheart) but a knowledgable dyno man can tune "any" bike, because they've learned what cells to go after in a certain power band. So I'm anxious to see how "good" the Cobra algorithym is at dyno-ing various setups.
I must admit though this does sound promising. The price I heard on the video was over $5xx, and I surmise there are resellers selling it for less. For someone that changes their setup over time, this would be a good investment. For my Nomad, I'm still with the PCV with Ignition as my best bang for the buck.

Sojourner, I did not know that, but I did know that Doebeck also started the Power Commander company and later sold it to Dynojet.
Doebeck has been around, they will do anything that makes money (including selling a current venture).
