Cobra Seat Sucks.

Pro's:
-Improves passenger comfort at the expense of the driver.

Con's:
-Rock hard gel foam.
-When cold, it will extract any and all heat from your body.
-Does not ship with the lockdown hardware, you have to transfer from your old seat.
-As a result of no lockdown hardware you cannot go back and forth with your OEM and Cobra Seat.
-The added height makes the factory backrest too low for proper back support.

Overall, neither the factory seat, or Cobra seat are acceptable for long trips. The cobra seat gives the passenger added cushion, and is wider, but the hard cold gel foam negates the extra padding. If you prefer super firm seats this might be a good choice.

My issue is not comfort as much as posture. I find on my stratoliner, the seating position favors a more straight back angle. On the Vulcan 900, it is more of a forward slouch which makes your back sore after a while. This cobra seat is simply too firm, so much so if you hit a big pot hole it is painful compared to stock.

OP, do you mean Corbin seat? Cobra makes exhaust pipes, air intakes and other accessories for the bike; however, seats are not one of them. They do make a passenger backrest.
