Seat questions / options........Bobber vs factory

I am really leaning towards a bobber build from blue collar bobbers. I would be using their wide seat.

I have a little over 1500 miles on the factory classic seat, and find it acceptable in town, but terrible for 2+ hr trips. I am wondering if the bobber seat will be less or more comfortable than the factory one.

On the flipside I was able to sit on my dads with an aftermarket cobra seat, and although very firm, the posture on your back is better as you sit down lower into the bike.

Your thoughts? Am I going to be miserable with a bobber seat?

From what I've been told, bobber seats aren't as comfortable as stock seats, it's more of a look thing.

I plan to bob my 800, knowing it won't be ridden for more than an hour or so at a time. Currently, the stock seat gets uncomfortable for me after 45-60 minutes anyway, so no great loss if it's a little less comfortable.
