I just got this Classic and it needed a new rear tire, I couldn't find anyone who had got one in there, So I decided to order one and make it happen...
You don't need to get rid of the 2" drop. I have the Avon 230 with 2' drop and other than removing the belt guards, I have no problems. Just need to adjust your rear shock for the shorter throw.
I know I don't have too but I have the 200/70-15 now and already bottom out and drag my pipes, not very bad solo but 2 up which is half my riding. Also I'm 6'4" so 2" higher would be better anyway. Sucks though I just put the 200 on then I saw the 230 for super cheap $159!!!!! Thought about buying a couple just to have.
