drifter front fender on a 900 classic?

Has anyone tried to put a drifter front fender on there vn 900? and if so how much modification was needed? I love the drifter, but love my mistress 900 and would like to combine the two because I cant afford both bikesI know the fenders are hard to find as are the drifters them selves.I had a chance to buy one years ago but settled for a honda ACE 750 which was a great bike too. thanks in advance gotta go to work now

I think without the rear fender to match the front one, it would look odd. That Drifter was a total look bike. Of course, then you'd need that Indian-style seat with the fringes, too. Could make for an interesting project.
