Ive read about muratic acid, wet sanding, the car battery/electro thing, and dozens of other methods. just curious as to what you all have tried and like?
What finish are you trying to achieve? If you want to put a ceramic coat over them, no need to remove the chrome, just scuff it good with sand paper. If you were to remove the chrome, they would rust, so you'll need to coat them with something.
I actually am totally on board with wrapping. not married to the smooth look. just that general color scheme. i like bikes like I like my trucks.. to look like theyve been used and roughed up a bit. *pretty* things annoy me. that bike is a beaut! yours brother?
