Idle me do.

Puttin the V2K to bed for about 2 months while Im gone.
So I fill the tank, add a little stabilizer and fir her up, starts first time but after 30 seconds cuts out, I restart but have to rev a little which I hate to do and I have to do it 2-3 more times.
Maybe idle is a little low, will check when I get back.
Happen to any of you guys? What resolved it?
Happened once before but no big deal. About 5 degrees and wet up here [Vancouver BC]
She's in the garage covered and plugged in for now.
Be safe.

For me it's having to crank the throttle part way after being parked for winter or starting from cold when it's only 2 or 3C outside. Usually once it's run for a minute or two with my cruise clamp holding the throttle at about 1500rpm it's good to go

Probably just the cold.

5 degrees. Jeez.. just the thought of that that makes my balls climb up inside me trying to get warm.

That exactly happened to me but only in the spring after it had been sitting in a cold garage ( battery tender of course ) for 4 months.
But not like you. Something is up if it's doing that to you. Shouldn't be.

Smed, winter of '94 in Ky. I watched the temperature rise 50 degrees and still didn't get above freezing. But has anybody noticed the warmer and farther south you get the straighter the roads become? I'll take a little cold, well OK, sometimes a lot of cold, to have my summer corner carving sessions.

I'd love to live somewhere warmer but we have our perks - Medicare, still lots of hockey around here even when the NHL is not going, and being just a few years from retirement (I Hope) maybe I can spend some winter time down south. Would be pretty tough to be away from grandkids if I lived far away...

it's been in the low 80's all week, with blue sky's.

Was a bit windy today...

but.. since i've been on vacation since last week (and don't go back to work until sometime in Jan).. I've been taking the scoot out for rides.
