Need Someone's Advice

Bike starts fine in neutral, will not start in gear with clutch pulled in. What do I need to adjust? Be as detailed as possible if you can, my mechanic ability is limited to adding gas and tightening a loose screw. Thanks in advance! This forum is a Godsend.

It should do nothing in gear with stand down, but start with stand up.

if it were the side stand switch it wouldnt even run in gear... would shut off soon as you put it in gear !

its a common feature on todays bikes and is on all modern kawasakis it keeps ya from driving off with the kickstand down .....which isnt so bad till ya turn left!!! lol

Turning left with kickstand down sort of acts like a training wheel and keeps you from scraping the floorboard doesn't it?

And if you start it in nuetral with the kick stand down and then put it in gear, it will die.
