No words of greater truth about motorcycles ever have been uttered by man nor beast. Beast was my bike's name.

I have discovered what broke my thumb. It happened when my front wheel was violently jerked to the left causing the handlebars to snap my thumb as they went to the right side, which also caused my frame to be bent, totaling my bike. Terrific hit.

Look at the way you hold the handle bars. Both thumbs are on inside of bars. When bars snap to left the left bar hits thumb and snaps it in two pieces, right bar exits grip between thumb and fingers, not hurting anything.

By the time I'm too old to ride any more there will have been ten motorcycles involved and dozens of people mauled in the wreckage.

Looks like it will be about two months or more before I get to use left hand again. going in Thursday to have pins shot into thumb and hand to hold it all in place for a while. Doc says two months +/- before they can take pins out.

It borders on impossible to put on a pair of button front jeans with one hand.
One must wear a baggie on broken body part to take shower.
Any body part in a cast ITCHES!
Meat can not be cut with one hand.
Forget it's broke and you will try to pick something up and say cuss words cause it hurts.

Little words of wisdom I have recently learned.
