All, what's the thoughts on switching up to a single front rotor on the VN2000? I've been wanting to upgrade to a 18" front wheel, and have been on the lookout for used, newer Harley wheels. I bought a set today, but screwed up and bought ones for a Dyna, which are single front rotor. In an effort to try and salvage the deal, just wondering if I upgraded the caliper if I can get sufficient force? I haven't researched calipers yet (but I will)
Hhhmmm...... cool. I'm 6'4" and 250lbs so no light weight myself. This is encouraging. These are the wheels I bought, from a Switchback, got the pair for $500, planning on selling the rear one.
A single rotor would look cool from one side, but from a performance standpoint, that was one of the selling points when I decided to buy a big bike. I've ridden a big harley with a single front disc and that's when two discs became mandatory on anything I was getting with my money.
