I knew someone who did. If they want the sale they will most likely take it and somehow try to inflate it in the price. Just do your research and know the most you will pay for the new bike with your trade in.
And don't drill any more holes.
One of the reasons I bought my 900 classic last month over other used ones the dealer had was because it had drilled out exhaust. I love the sound. ( well that and it had saddlebags, backrest,and windshield.
If you bought if from a dealer that way you shouldn't have any problems.. Why you changing after only a month? It's a great bike. I know there are some great deals out there on new 2015's and 16's.
When I bought my 2016 Voyager in June of this year, I traded in a Suzuki Boulevard with drilled pipes. The dealer didn't care. This was in Southern California.
