I am amazed how many folks sign up for riding chapters but never seem to ride.
Just an hour north of Atlanta you get into the mountains that provide some of the best riding in the country Georgia, Carolinas and TN ( Tail of the Dragon country) and this is the best riding weather of the year warm (not hot).
I post many weekend rides with a group of chapters perhaps 200- 300 members in total, great routes and I provide a map of the route and a GPX file when I post the ride, also try to pick a good local modest priced restaurant for lunch. On occasion 1-3 riders will show up, everyone says they enjoy the ride but many times it's just me, so I enjoy a solo ride.
What I don't get is why buy a motorcycle, sign up for riding chapters and never ride. Not really a surprise when you see bikes for sale that are 10 years old with under 5,000 miles on them.
Is your bike a garage queen? If so why is that? What would it take to get you out and ride your bike.
I don't expect to get a lot of responses because I am pretty sure that most of the folks on this forum are active riders, but even if you are an active rider I would be interested in what you want from your local riding chapter.
